My first book, The Errant Thread, was selected by Eavan Boland for the Kore Press First Book Award and my second, Girls’ Studies, is part of the Seal Studies series. I have written about everything from Mattel’s use of “fauxpowerment,” Cinderella and systemic change, that “only Jew at the dinner table feeling,” why academics should be paid for their work, and the glory of imperfect New Year’s cards. With multiple articles published in a range of academic and trade books, I am always looking for my next project.
